American Peanut Shellers Association & National Peanut Buying Points Association Schedule Joint Meeting

The American Peanut Shellers Association and the National Peanut Buying Points Association will host a joint meeting on August 10 and 11 at the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club near Cordele, Georgia. The schedule of events and registration form links are below.  In addition to the business program several Board and Committee meeting are scheduled. Additional options include a golf tournament, a low country boil sponsored by Dow AgriSciences, an auction, and a Texas Hold’em Poker tournament.

ROOM RESERVATIONS

A block of rooms has been reserved at the special conference rate of $99/night for single or double rooms at the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club.  Attendees should call the hotel directly at (229) 276-1004 or toll-free at (800) 459-1230 to make reservations.  Please reference the Group #124892 at the time of your reservation to receive the special group rate.  There are limited rooms available and the hotel is expected to sell out.  Overflow rooms can be booked at the Fairfield Inn (229-273-0042) located in Cordele, GA, 15 minutes from The Retreat.   

DIRECTIONS

Take I-75 to Cordele, Exit 101 and go west on Highway 280 for approximately 10 miles.  Go in entrance of Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park and follow signs to Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club.

EXHIBITS

Table-top exhibits will be available for $100 each to companies interested in presenting their goods and services to the Sheller and Buying Point segments of the industry.  Exhibits will be displayed during the Educational Program.  Please call Angela at (229) 386-1716 or Miriam at (229) 888-2508 if you are interested in reserving a space.
